According to a report, the upcoming iPad Pro from Apple will feature an OLED display and a fresh keyboard design.

There’s also an upcoming release of a new Magic Keyboard.

A report suggests that there’s a forthcoming iPad Pro along with a redesigned Magic Keyboard, but the launch is not slated for this year.

Apple is in the process of developing a new generation of iPad Pro devices, which could mark one of the most significant updates in years for the company’s tablet lineup.

According to insights from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these upcoming iPad Pro models are anticipated to debut in the spring or summer of 2024 and will be equipped with OLED displays. This transition is noteworthy because the current 11-inch iPad Pro employs an LCD display, while the larger 12.9-inch model utilizes a mini-LED display. Shifting to OLED technology is expected to deliver deeper black levels, more precise color representation, increased brightness, and possibly enhanced battery life.

In addition to the display enhancements, Gurman reports that the larger iPad Pro will have a screen measuring 13 inches, a modest yet discernible size upgrade. It’s worth noting that the report doesn’t mention the previously rumored extra-large iPad Pro, aligning with an earlier 2022 prediction by analyst Ross Young, who forecasted slightly larger iPad Pro models featuring OLED displays in 2024.

These fresh iPad Pro iterations are also said to be powered by Apple’s new M3 chip, and they will offer an optional Magic Keyboard with an enlarged trackpad and other enhancements.

The iPad Pro is undoubtedly in need of a revitalization, as the most recent variant received only minor updates in 2022. Although the exact release date of the new iPad Pro remains uncertain, Gurman is confident that it won’t be part of Apple’s forthcoming September event, where the focus is likely to be on the introduction of new iPhones.
