The rear camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra
We are still a few months away from the anticipated release of the Samsung Galaxy S24, but information about the flagship phone series continues to surface. This time, we have early details about one of the cameras featured on the Ultra model.
According to the reliable source @UniverseIce, as reported by SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to incorporate the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2SX sensor into one of its four rear cameras. This sensor represents an enhanced version of the ISOCELL HP2 found in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In essence, while both the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra will boast a 200MP camera in their specifications, the forthcoming phone slated for release in January or February is rumored to house an “optimized version” of the original sensor if this leak holds true.
Although it may not be the most groundbreaking upgrade, it still constitutes an improvement. It appears that the Galaxy S24 series will focus on incremental enhancements. We can only hope that the pricing reflects this approach when the Galaxy S24 handsets are eventually unveiled.
