“Xiaomi’s Upcoming Launch Event: Introducing Mix Fold 3 Alongside Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 Series”

Xiaomi is about to officially introduce the Mix Fold 3 in China on August 14, along with the Redmi K60 Ultra and Pad 6 series. The new foldable phone has been shown in teasers before, but now we have the first real images.

Xiaomi has shared pictures of the Mix Fold 3 as part of their teaser campaign. These images show more details compared to the previous teasers. You can see one of the images below.

The Mix Fold 3 keeps the slim design that was present in the Mix Fold 2. We’re not sure if it will be thinner than the Honor Magic V2, which is currently the slimmest folding phone available. The phone has a small hole for the front camera, instead of having the camera under the screen.

The camera layout on the back is also similar to the previous model, with four lenses arranged in a square shape. The well-known Leica logo is still there. The main camera has a VARIO SUMMICRON lens with an aperture ranging from f/1.8 to f/2.9.

There are rumors about a new and improved hinge for this folding phone. If that’s true, we might see more about it in the teasers. The Mix Fold 3 will come in two colors: Black with a leather finish and Gold with a glass back. Unfortunately, it’s expected to only be available in China, so people from other places would need to buy it through import.
